AnonymousHi there
We have just purchased the product and I have a couple of questions :
1) To perform remote inventory management, will we always need a specific account (admin type) setting up on the workstations under interrogation if we are to collect system details (disk, mem, OS, AV etc.) ?
2) Lots of our workstations aren’t attached to a network, however I wish to keep all information in one format using one tool. Is it possible to download NIA onto a stick drive and run it from there ie: at the workstation under no specific privileges (orindary user) to collect the information in a file for forwarding ?
thanks for any response

Sure, that would be a security breach if anyone could run a scan against your network without even having an admin account, right?

Exactly! Just use the following option to export the standalone audit tool: Export audit agent -> Manual scan…

AnonymousIs it possible when running the remote widget Manual Scan to get the data back to the server in an automated fashion?
