    Scanning a bunch of machines on a domain, a lot of them responded back with

    Node couldn’t be scanned with any known method. Check your access password.

    Other machines on the same domain have responded back successfully so it’s not a credential issue, using a domain admin account with highest privileges and firewalls are turned off.

    I think I figured it out actually, looks like these machines aren’t actually active and disabled in AD but it doesn’t show as disabled in NIA.

    Hi there, it doesn’t actually matter whether the node is enabled in AD, if you are scanning by IP and it’s online, Network Inventory Advisor will pick it up. If it’s out of your domain, you should just use the local admin account to scan it, instead of the domain one. Hope this helps.
