    I have items which are not scannable like dumb switches and UPS’s. They show an IP address but are not scanned. I am able to rename them but I would like to add data to them. I can create manual assets and add data, but I see no way to change an item that is an unscanned IP to act like a manually created Asset.

    How can I do this?

    Your request is noted and will definitely be added as a feature to later releases of Network Inventory Advisor. You are not alone in requesting this functionality, and I can assure you, the update is coming.
